OMG! I Got My First Chin Hair!!

Ok, so we're in the car on the way home dinner and my husband looks at me with this crazy face and says, "Um, uh, uh, I don't, uh know how to tell you this, but, uh, look in the mirror".  I quickly think "oh great, I've got something stuck in my teeth from dinner and he's JUST now telling me".

I look in the mirror and see that my teeth are clean, my make-up is intact and then I spot IT... there in the glistening sunlight shines a chin hair.  Dangling every so gracefully, long enough to sway in a calm wind. I was mortified.

Where do these things come from?  Seriously it was long enough that I should have noticed it days, if not weeks ago (ok maybe I'm exaggerating a little), but I KNOW it wasn't there yesterday ... do these things sprout overnight?!

I pulled that thing out right then and there ... two won't grow back in it's place right??

So we get home and I'm online right away to share with my good friend what I found - her response? "I'm older than you and I haven't had a chin hair yet.  However, I have had the stray boobie hair and that just really distresses me!!!"  My eyes open wide ...

I reply "OMG I have the stray boob hairs too...boob hair AND chin hair!!! What is happening to me?!?!?!?!?"

Excuse me while I go find the ice cream to drown my sorrows ...

Product Review - Nude by Nature

I was one of the lucky ladies chosen to review the new Nude by Nature line here in Canada through Chick Advisor Included in my package were: 1) Nude by Nature Radiant Loose Powder Foundation 2) Nude by Nature Perfecting Primer 3) Nude by Nature Mineral Brush #11 Let's get down to the review: 1) Nude by Nature Radiant Loose Powder Foundation I have previously used powder mineral foundations and was excited to try the Nude by Nature one. The powder comes in a nice clear tub with an interesting mesh sifter. It was hard to pick a color without actually seeing the powders in person but the color I chose matched my skin tone closely enough. That's where the good ends. My main priorities for a mineral powder makeup is that gives my skin a healthy look and they do not look cakey. Unfortunately this one failed. Product Review - Veet Sensitive Precision Styler

Save your money ... I purchased the new Veet Sensitive Precision Styler in hopes of taming my unruly brows.  I first tried trimming my brows and while it did do a good job of trimming them, when it came time to shape the brows, it really was useless as the blade (even as small as it is) doesn't work well on curved areas.  Major fail ... Sadly I ended up just plucking as I usually do. I did try the larger blade side on my baby fine facial hairs, as well as my upper lip and it did work well for those areas, but you can easily shave your face with a plain razor, so save your money. Would I recommend the Veet Sensitive Precision Styler? If all you are looking for is something to shave your face - minus shaping your brows - then it does well for that task, but as I said earlier, save your money and just use a regular razor.  It definitely does not work for shaping your brows, but does work for trimming - something else you can do with an eyebrow comb and a pair of s...
